Using this calculator
Inputs and method
Combine the selected support geometry with conductor sag, conductor properties, span exposure, and project wind pressure. Dead-end mode uses zero support offset at the pole centreline. Sag may be entered directly or calculated from horizontal tension and conductor weight.
Design use
Intended for fixed distribution arrangements, including the available 69 kV line-post hardware option used conservatively on lower-voltage work. It does not model free-swinging insulator strings, dead-end hardware offset, or transmission structures.
